Hey sweet friends! Pamela here. Have you ever had one of those days that felt perfectly ordinary, yet somehow, in the quiet moments, felt completely extraordinary?
That’s exactly how I felt looking back at these photos of Bevyn and me hanging out on Main Street in Fredericksburg, Texas. It wasn’t a grand holiday or a major milestone—just someone I love, spending time together in a place that feels like home. In this season of life, as an empty nester, I’m learning that these “everyday” moments are actually the most precious gifts of all.
Sometimes, when life feels a bit overwhelming or we’re navigating a new season, it’s easy to overlook the simple joy of a shared meal or a walk down a familiar street. But I truly believe that God meets us right there, in the middle of the ordinary. As it says in Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” For me, scrapbooking is a way to see those “unseen” blessings and give thanks for the beautiful story God is writing in our lives, even in the quiet chapters.
Today, I’m so excited to share how I preserved these sweet memories using the Extraordinary Life Scrapbooking Workshop Kit from the new May–August 2026 Stampin’ Up!® Catalog. This kit is just a dream—filled with soft colors, hearts, florals, and butterflies that make memory keeping feel so simple and meaningful.
For this two-page 12×12 layout (Project #2 from the kit), I wanted to add a few special touches to really make the story shine:
•Focal Point Tags: I love how these larger tags create a beautiful backdrop for our photos, adding a sense of discovery.
•Journaling Labels: And for those heart-felt thoughts, I used smaller labels, perfect for journaling and adding personal touches.
•Scored Details: Adding just a bit of scoring creates such lovely texture and dimension without any extra bulk.
•Layered Embellishments: I had so much fun layering the title “You Make Me Smile” with those delicate floral pieces.
•The Finishing Touch: To give it that extra sparkle, I added the Array of Dots embellishments. They’re like little drops of joy scattered across the page!
